We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. As a key member of our maternity services team, you will provide essential nursing care to mothers and newborns during one of the most critical times of their lives, ensuring safety, comfort, and positive outcomes.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing experience
Valid and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Proven proficiency with EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) as NCC C-EFM or acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Advanced Skills
Strong IV start skills and L&D clinical experience
Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system experience
Ability to float to other units as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior travel nursing experience
Additional certifications in neonatal or obstetric care
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
At least 2 years of recent L&D experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30)
Willingness to float and assist across units as needed
Compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
