In this role, you will oversee medical care, assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), and contribute to their overall well-being. Your commitment will help foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for individuals requiring specialized care.
Required Skills:
Valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
Knowledge of ICF regulations and resident care standards
Proven experience in providing direct patient care, particularly for individuals with IDD
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in an ICF or similar long-term care setting
Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages)
CPR and First Aid certification
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
State licensure as an LVN
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care or IDD setting preferred
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Reliable transportation for potential travel reimbursements
Certification reimbursements and licensure renewal assistance as applicable
