What You’ll Do
Provide high-quality ICU patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
Administer medications, including narcotics and TPN, according to physician orders
Manage patient needs related to wounds, drains, Foley catheter care, and wound care procedures
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Monitor patient status and respond to emergency situations
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic electronic health records
Participate in emergency team assignments as needed, including staying at the facility during events or relief shifts
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications
1+ year of ICU experience, preferably in LTAC settings
Epic EMR experience
Preferred:
Experience with special procedures such as wound care, drain management, and narco administration
Ability to work in fast-paced, emergency situations
