Join our dedicated team as an LVN in a specialized Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) serving Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Required Skills:
Valid LVN license in California
Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and household activities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and safety protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in an ICF or similar residential setting
CPR and First Aid certification
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish or other languages
Familiarity with documentation and electronic health records
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification in California
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with individuals with IDD
Knowledge of California state healthcare laws and regulations
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts that may include nights or weekends
Ability to lift and assist residents with mobility
Must pass background check and health screening
Willingness to help with ADLs and household activities as required
