Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) to join our Occupational and Employee Health team in Peterborough, NH. Reporting directly to the Nurse Director of Occupational Health, the successful candidate will provide primary and occupational health care, develop and implement health and safety programs, and contribute to fostering a healthy work environment. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and management of occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
Document patient encounters thoroughly in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Manage case coordination for work-related and non-work-related health issues.
Perform health hazard assessments and ongoing surveillance of employee populations, workplaces, and community groups.
Investigate, monitor, and analyze trends related to injuries and illnesses, recommending preventive strategies.
Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and standards concerning workplace health and safety.
Oversee and administer occupational and environmental health services, including screenings and health promotion initiatives.
Lead health education, counseling, and wellness programs utilizing adult learning principles.
Participate in research activities related to occupational and environmental health.
Qualifications:
Valid and current BLS (AHA) certification is required.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of New Hampshire or the ability to obtain.
Prior experience in occupational health, primary care, or similar healthcare settings preferred.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and patient care excellence.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate: Starting at $25/hour for new graduates, up to $27/hour based on experience.
