We are seeking a dedicated and professional Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will provide essential clinical support within a diverse medical practice, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform clinical procedures including blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab testing, and other patient-centered tasks within the scope of certification or licensure.
Assist physicians during examinations by measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
Prepare exam rooms, ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies before and after patient visits.
Communicate with patients via phone, providing instructions as directed by the physician, and coordinating follow-up care.
Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including referral forms, lab slips, and documentation.
Support patient flow by guiding patients to and from exam rooms, preparing them for procedures, and assisting during treatments.
Requisition and manage medical supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained.
Collaborate with the healthcare team, including physicians and administrative staff, to deliver seamless patient care.
Adhere to confidentiality protocols to protect patient information and practice integrity.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Qualifications and Certifications:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and empathy.
Strong personal appearance, neatness, and a caring attitude towards patients.
Emotional stability and discretion to handle sensitive patient information.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to perform a variety of clinical tasks within scope of practice.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in primary care or outpatient clinics is advantageous but not mandatory.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical procedures.
