What You'll Do:
As an LPN in our IDD program, you will deliver personalized nursing care to residents, monitor health conditions, assist with medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote wellbeing and independence. Your role is vital in ensuring our residents receive respectful, effective, and individualized care in a supportive setting.
Required Skills:
Valid Pennsylvania LPN license
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans precisely and document accurately
Compassionate approach with a patient-centered mindset
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in an ICF or similar residential setting
CPR and first aid certification
Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to IDD care
Multilingual abilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Licensed Practical Nurse credential with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Official certification in medication administration is a plus
Other Requirements:
Ability to complete a 5-day orientation from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, prior to shift work
Willingness to work shift schedules as assigned, including potential overtime
Must maintain all required licensure and certifications, including CPR and first aid
