What You’ll Do
Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures/services as appropriate to the task order.
Position patients and make technical adjustments necessary for required examinations.
Process digital images and submit appropriate image series for radiologist interpretation per protocol.
Adhere to radiation safety policies and follow quality control/calibration procedures.
Assist in interventional radiology procedures as primary assistant to the Interventional Radiologist, including vascular and non-vascular interventions.
Prepare and maintain sterile surgical set-ups, follow infection control and universal precautions, and support specimen/supply handling.
Support patient triage and scheduling, including prioritizing critical/emergency procedures and ensuring required documentation is accurate.
What You Need
Required
Graduate of an academic program accredited by JRCERT
ARRT certification
AHA or ARC BLS Healthcare Provider (current)
1 year of experience within the last 2 years as an IR Tech
Ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance
