We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Radiology / Cardiology specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this critical role, you will perform advanced neuro and body procedures, including stent placements, angioplasties, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies, utilizing Siemens and Phillips equipment. Your expertise will directly enhance patient outcomes across neuro and cardiovascular specialties, providing leadership and exceptional care in a collaborative hospital environment.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 1 year of IR experience with inpatient hospital exposure
Proven neuro expertise, including stroke intervention
Proficiency with PACS, contrast procedures, and all IR interventions such as stents, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies
Experience working with Siemens and Phillips x-ray systems
Current BLS and ARRT certification
Ability to handle complex neuro and body procedures, including upper and lower extremity, abdominal, pelvic, genitourinary, and neurological studies
Strong knowledge of vascular access and neurological interventions
Nice to Have Skills:
ARRT Advanced Certification
Familiarity with EPIC and McKesson systems
Experience in outpatient, OR, ER, Level I trauma, or teaching hospital settings
Prior involvement with ablations and stroke interventions
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certified Radiologic Technologist with ARRT credentials, ideally with advanced ARRT certifications
At least one year of specialized interventional radiology experience in a hospital environment, with documented success in neuro and vascular procedures
Other Requirements:
Availability to work the first shift (07:00 – 17:30), including weekends and evenings on rotation
Ability to attend hospital orientation during the first week of assignment
Willingness to travel for reimbursements and certifications as needed
Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $71.58, with comprehensive benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, and a robust referral bonus program. The work schedule is four days per week, 10 hours each day, with a rotating call schedule covering weekends, evenings, and nights. All necessary scrubs are provided, and the hospital’s diverse case load ensures a challenging and rewarding experience.
