We are looking for skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology Radiology / Cardiology Technicians to join our team. This pivotal role offers a chance to work in a leading short-term acute care facility recognized for its magnet designation, teaching programs, and level III trauma designation. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services within inpatient, operating room, ER, and interventional radiology settings. You will perform a variety of complex procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, venous and arterial access, neurovascular studies, and other specialized interventions. The position demands precision, expertise, and strong collaboration with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with the potential for on-call assignments (0-4 per month), offering a balanced work-life integration.
Required Skills:
Valid State License (or eligible)
Certification in BLS and ARRT
Minimum 1 year of experience in IR/angiography procedures
Proficiency in performing procedures such as stents, angioplasty, vascular and neurological studies
Ability to operate advanced imaging equipment including X-ray, angiography, and interventional tools
Strong attention to detail and excellent patient care skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-acuity settings
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Epic or Excellian charting systems
Previous experience in a magnet or teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with float procedures within scope to meet facility needs
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certified Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
At least 1 year of hands-on interventional radiology experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Availability for weekend on-call duties as needed
Willingness to work within a 40-hour weekly schedule
Must be able to pass all credentialing and licensing requirements
Compensation for this position is $81.34 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure and travel reimbursements, and an attractive referral bonus program.
