We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide top-tier diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services within a dynamic hospital setting. This crucial role offers the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, perform complex procedures, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Required Skills:
Current Indiana State Department of Health Radiology Technologist license (pending license acceptable if applied)
ARRT(R) certification
BLS certification
Proven experience in diagnostic radiographic procedures
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and specialized supplies
Ability to adapt equipment and positioning to meet patient needs
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to scrub into procedures and obtain advanced interventional credentials if applicable
Flexibility to work a 10-hour shift schedule with on-call responsibilities, including weekend duty
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in interventional radiology or cardiology
Certification or experience in advanced procedures
Ability to maneuver and improvise equipment positions in challenging conditions
Preferred Education and Experience:
Radiologic Technologist degree from an accredited program
Minimum of 2 years of clinical radiology experience, with preferred exposure to interventional procedures
Other Requirements:
Availability for approximately 10 shifts per month, including one weekend every 3rd or 4th week
Ability to work during holidays as scheduled (must work 2 out of 3 major holidays)
Willingness to work varied shift blocks with guaranteed hours
Must comply with hospital policies, including sterile technique and patient safety protocols
