Join Our Dynamic Interventional Radiology Team as an Interventional Radiology Radiology / Cardiology Technologist
Are you a skilled IR technologist passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and advanced interventional procedures? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our elite team, contributing expertise across both peripheral vascular and neurovascular interventions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility committed to excellence and innovation in vascular and neurological imaging.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for assisting with complex interventional procedures, including angiograms, stent placements, embolizations, nephrostomies, and neurovascular interventions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety, precision, and optimal patient outcomes. The position involves on-call duties every 3rd or 4th weekend, requiring proficiency in both peripheral and neurovascular IR to provide seamless, top-tier care at all times.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR technologist.
Proficient in scrub and circulator roles for peripheral vascular and neurovascular procedures.
Ability to perform angiograms, stent placements, angioplasty, embolizations, venous access, and neurovascular studies.
Certification in BLS and ARRT.
Strong understanding of vascular and neurological interventional techniques.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with vascular studies, venous access, and complex neurointerventional procedures.
Familiarity with Siemens C-arm systems, including single plane and biplane configurations.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, trauma-level environment.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Radiologic technologist certification with at least 2 years of IR experience in a hospital setting.
Hands-on experience with vascular and neurointerventions in a Level 1 trauma center preferred.
Other Requirements:
On-call availability every third and fourth weekend starting Friday at 1730 through Monday at 0700.
Willingness to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases, including advanced procedures such as intracranial thrombectomy and PE thrombectomy.
Active licensure or certification reimbursement, travel, and related expenses covered when applicable.
Position Details:
Shifts: 4 days/week, 10-hour day shift (07:00 - 17:30).
Hourly Rate: $77.41.
Department features four IR rooms with Siemens c-arms, supporting high-level trauma, stroke, and vascular interventions.
