We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide exceptional care in a state-of-the-art Interventional Radiology department. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing complex vascular and neurovascular interventional procedures, including stent placements, angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomies, and vascular studies. You will play a key part in a high-caliber team handling a diverse range of cases in a Level 1 trauma and stroke environment, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through your proficiency and professionalism.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist specializing in IR procedures
  • Proficiency in both peripheral vascular IR and neurovascular IR cases
  • Ability to scrub and circulate in catheterization lab settings
  • Certification in ARRT and current BLS certification
  • Strong knowledge of vascular and neurological interventional procedures, including angioplasty, embolizations, venous access, and neurovascular studies
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases concurrently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with Siemens c-arm systems, particularly biplane setups
  • Prior experience in Level 1 trauma centers
  • Additional certifications or training in interventional radiology or cardiovascular imaging
  • Ability to handle on-call duties and respond promptly to emergent procedures

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • At least 2 years of recent experience in IR procedures within a hospital setting, preferably a trauma or stroke center

Other Requirements:
  • On-call availability every third or fourth weekend, starting Friday at 17:30 through Monday at 07:00
  • Ability to make up call-in shifts either within the pay period or at the end of the contract
  • Valid ARRT certification and current BLS certification
  • Willingness to travel if necessary for coverage or training purposes

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $77.41, with shift hours from 07:00 to 17:30, four days a week.
