Position: Internist with Specialization in Gastroenterology (Permanent Placement)
We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology specialist to join our team in a permanent capacity. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to comprehensive patient care within a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal disorders, including conditions related to the esophagus, stomach, intestines, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
Conduct outpatient clinics, perform endoscopic procedures, and manage inpatient care as required.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
Ensure adherence to current clinical guidelines and maintain high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.
Participate in on-call rotations, which require availability for 7-10 days per month to provide continuous patient coverage.
Document patient encounters accurately and comprehensively, maintaining up-to-date medical records.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of California.
Proven experience in managing a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
