Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years clinical cardiology experience
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 (monthly hours approximately 160)

What You’ll Do
Provide inpatient care, including rounding and consultations
Coordinate multidisciplinary rounds and communication with referring providers
Review hospital diagnostic studies during service weeks
Conduct outpatient clinics Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Assess and manage patient follow-ups and care coordination
Participate in hospital and outpatient care, ensuring seamless patient management
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters
Support long-term patient follow-up with a dedicated panel of cardiology patients
What You Need
Valid active supervising license in Louisiana
Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine - Cardiology
At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently
About the Assignment
This position involves providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiology services at a reputable facility in Baton Rouge. The provider will have a scheduled hospital rotation every 5–6 weeks, with the primary focus on patient follow-up, diagnostics, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will be committed to continuity of care, with a long-term interest in building lasting patient relationships.
