Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our reputable healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care focusing on the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders, promoting patient well-being and ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
Conduct endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopies and upper endoscopies, with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and optimize health outcomes.
Participate in patient education, counseling, and follow-up care to ensure understanding and compliance with treatment regimens.
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of clinical encounters, and adhere to all regulatory standards.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices.
Engage in academic activities, including teaching and research opportunities, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license to practice in Washington State.
Proven experience in performing endoscopic procedures is preferred.
