Job Description


Position: Board-Certified Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Location: Spokane, Washington


Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed internal medicine team in Spokane, WA. The successful candidate will provide expert consultation, diagnosis, and treatment of gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized management plans for patients with GI conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other GI-related interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, evidence-based patient care.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in the electronic health records system.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advances in gastroenterology and incorporate best practices into clinical care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education (CME) activities.

Qualifications:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • Active, unrestricted medical license in the State of Washington.
  • Proven experience in performing endoscopic procedures and managing complex GI cases.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
