VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Gastroenterology.

Description: We are experiencing shortages in our GI coverage across 2 hospitals. This has created some difficulty in keeping patients in the hospital with GI needs.
In an effort to assist with call coverage as well as address the backlog of patients and screening procedures, we would like to pull in locums assistance, which would amount to a full-time equivalent position. This position would include weekdays and weekends.
We would like to see rates for the following three scenarios, please:
• 24 hour call only
• 24 hour call with some clinic hours included
• Clinic coverage only
Please note that all-inclusive rates are preferred. Also, we would like the provider to cover both of our hospitals while on call, so that our patients and families can stay closer to home during their hospital stays.
The Gastroenterology Delineation of Privileges has been attached to this bid as well as Employee Health requirements.
1099 Pay Rate: Competitive Market Rates (W-2 Pay Packages available upon request)
