Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our esteemed medical team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiovascular care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of cardiac conditions, in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions.
Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and catheterizations, as appropriate.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients and their families on cardiac health, prevention strategies, and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with institutional policies and regulatory standards.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives, clinical research, and continuing medical education to stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology.
Contribute to the training and supervision of residents and medical students, fostering a culture of excellence and learning.
Qualifications:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Board Certification in Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or equivalent.
Valid California Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
Proven clinical experience in adult cardiology, with a strong background in both invasive and non-invasive procedures preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
