VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Cardiology.

Description: LOCUM- Cardiology
Please make sure bids reflect the following:
- Guaranteed hours: 8 hours per day
- OT to apply after 10 hours per day
We are looking cardiologist to cover 1-2 weeks a month. Provider will work 8am-5 pm Monday-Friday. Then will possibly be on call one week a month. When they are on call it will be clinic & night call (M-F) and then 24hr weekend call.
OT must be approved by clinical operations.
Requirements:
Active CA license
Active CA DEA
BC or BE within 5 years of fellowship
We can possibly get temporary privileges if the provider has a clean file. If not, it would take closer to 90-120 days. Please note the RFA should be turned in within 48-72 hours of being received. The application should be turned in 5 days after being received. The privileging timeline will not begin until the application is turned in.
Update 7/31:
o All specialties require 2 years of current Hospital clinical activity in the specialty.
o Gaps greater than 3 months must be explained.
o Include current number of case logs upon presentation for surgical specialties.
