ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift in Metairie, LA | ICU & CVICU Experience Required

Hours/Week: 36 hours/week
Employment Type: Contract
Required Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI can be obtained at the facility for $100)
Experience: 2+ years ICU experience, CVICU preferred

Pay rate: $56.95/hour

What You’ll Do
Provide critical care in ICU and CVICU settings, including Impella and CRRT/NXSTAGE devices
Monitor and operate advanced equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, Servo ventilators, and Fresenius CRRT dialysis machines
Care for adult ICU patients, including lab draws, EKGs, and line starts
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
Float to other ICUs, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU units as needed
Adhere to infection control protocols and isolation procedures, including Covid-19 patient care
What You Need
Active RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, CVICU experience highly preferred
Certification in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
Ability to work night shifts and weekends as scheduled
Comfort with advanced ICU equipment and ICU protocols
