ICU Registered Nurse

Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
Epic EMR system experience
Ability to manage a 1:2 patient ratio, with flexibility to 1:3 when needed
Proficiency in lab sticks, EKGs, line starts, and use of advanced ICU equipment
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience floating to various ICU units, ED, or PACU
Knowledge of MS/PCU units with 1:4 patient ratios
Additional certifications in advanced cardiac life support and emergency response
Familiarity with equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, dialysis machines, Edwards Lifesciences monitors, and other ICU-specific devices
Preferred Education and Experience:
RN licensure in good standing
Prior experience in acute care or ICU settings
Certification in CPI, NIH, ACLS, BLS (CPI available at the facility for $100)
Other Requirements:
Availability to work 12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:30), including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Ability to float to all ICUs, and occasionally to ED, PACU, or MS/PCU units
Must be prepared to care for COVID-19 and other isolation patients; know your N95 mask size
Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
Limited time off requests, with a maximum of 5 days
All necessary licenses, travel reimbursements, and certification reimbursements provided
