What You'll Bring:
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with demonstrated proficiency in Epic electronic health record system.
Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:2, with flexibility to 1:3, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
Proficiency in all ICU procedures including lab sticks, EKGs, and line placements.
Experience operating equipment such as Alaris IV Pumps, CADD PCA pumps, Servo I ventilators, Fresenius CRRT Dialysis machines, Edwards Lifesciences cardiac monitors, Medtronic EVD Management Systems, Arctic Sun TMS, GE Monitors, Hill Rom Beds, Pyxis Medication Station, and Veratron Bladder Scanner.
Certification in ACLS, BLS, CPI (optional CPI training available at the facility for $100), and NIH standards.
Personal preparedness to care for all types of ICU and isolation patients, including Covid-19 cases, with familiarity of N95 mask sizing.
Additional Skills That Are a Plus:
Experience floating to other ICUs, ED, PACU, or MS/PCU units with patient ratios up to 1:4.
Strong multitasking abilities and comfort working with advanced medical equipment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively across departments.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Nursing degree (BSN preferred).
Valid nursing license with current credentials.
At least 2 years of critical care experience in a fast-paced ICU setting.
Other Requirements:
Availability to work 4 day-shift 12-hour shifts weekly, from 07:00 to 19:30.
Weekend shifts required, with 4 weekends per 4-week schedule.
No call responsibilities required.
Limited to 5 days of return-to-office (RTO) time.
Willingness to float to all ICU areas, ED, PACU, and MS/PCU as needed.
Travel and licensure reimbursements when applicable.
