ICU Registered Nurse - Neuro/Stroke & Vascular Care in Marrero, LA

Location: 1101 Medical Center Boulevard, Marrero, LA 70072
Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable
Paid sick time in accordance with laws

What You’ll Do:
Provide ICU nursing care for neuro/stroke, vascular surgeries, and general CC patients
Manage ventilator settings, central lines, A-lines, lumbar drains, ICP monitoring, and other special procedures
Care for post-op craniotomies and manage patient stabilization and recovery
Float between SCU, NCU, and CCU, including occasional care for CC admits in ED
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes
Document all patient care accurately and efficiently
What You Need:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
Minimum 2 years’ ICU experience with neuro care preferred
Proficiency with Vent management, ICP monitoring, EVD management, and CRRT
ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH certifications (CPI can be obtained at the facility for $100)
Key skills: Adaptability to float units, strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills
About the Assignment:
