Join Our Team as an ICU Registered Nurse – Make a Difference in Critical Care
Are you a dedicated ICU Nurse aspiring to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment? Our prestigious healthcare facility is seeking a highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool team for night shifts. This vital role offers the opportunity to work across various ICU units, providing invaluable support and ensuring top-tier care for critically ill patients. Key Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a fast-paced hospital environment
Valid and active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system
Demonstrated ability to start IVs, manage telemetry, and operate ventilators
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior travel nursing experience in ICU settings
Additional certifications such as CCRN or PALS
Experience with diverse ICU populations (Neuro, Surgical, Medical MICU, Cardiothoracic, SICU, NCCU)
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Proven ability to float between different ICU units seamlessly
Other Requirements:
Availability for night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours/week
Willingness to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
Valid nursing license in good standing
Willingness to travel if applicable; travel and related reimbursements provided
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay rate of $59.18
