Join Our Critical Care Float Pool as an ICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift
Elevate your nursing career by becoming a vital part of our Critical Care Float Pool, delivering exceptional patient care across diverse ICU settings. This role offers a challenging and rewarding environment where your expertise makes a direct impact on patient outcomes, all while providing flexible scheduling for weekend night shifts. Enjoy the opportunity to work in various units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, CVICU, SICU, MICU, and NCCU, ensuring a dynamic and enriching work experience.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a high-acuity setting
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Demonstrated proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience
Experience with additional ICU specialties or advanced technologies
Bilingual abilities for enhanced patient interactions
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least two years of recent ICU experience in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Weekly schedule: 36 hours/week
Flexibility to float across units based on staffing needs
Valid licensure and certifications required
Willingness to work night shifts on weekends
