Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population, including both children and adults. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 50/50 split between pediatric and adult patients. The ideal candidate will bring professionalism, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality dental services. The position runs for a minimum of three months with the possibility of extension, offering a rewarding opportunity to contribute to community health.
Required Skills
Valid DEA license and certification to practice dentistry.
Proven experience in general dentistry within a clinical setting.
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
Ability to complete patient charts within 72 hours.
Capable of quick decision-making and working efficiently under deadlines.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience working with children and adult patients.
Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse patient demographic.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Additional certifications, such as sedation or advanced restorative procedures, would be a plus.
Preferred Education and Experience
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Minimum of one year of clinical practice experience preferred.
Prior experience in a community health or public health setting is advantageous.
Other Requirements
Active DEA license required before start date.
Immunizations including flu vaccine (2022-2023), TB test/X-ray, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and Tdap within the recommended timeframes.
Credentialing process typically takes 30-60 days; timely submission of documentation is essential.
Provider must commit to a minimum of three months; extensions are possible.
Willingness to work with pediatric and adult populations.
Willing to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
