What You’ll Bring:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Valid PA medical license and DEA authorization
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
Strong procedural skills, capable of performing scheduled procedures and managing inpatient and outpatient care
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
Nice to Have:
Experience with advanced procedures such as EUS or ERCP
Prior experience in a hospital-based practice
Ability to manage a diverse patient age range and complex cases
CPR and other relevant certifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
At least 1 year of gastroenterology practice in a hospital setting
Current state licensure and Board Certification
Other Requirements:
Willingness to support 24-hour call shifts, including inpatient rounds, scheduled procedures, and consults
Ability to work approximately 2 weeks per month, with scheduled procedures averaging 4-5 per day plus add-ons
Commitment to maintaining credentialing within 90 days
Participation in hospital and clinic activities, including inpatient rounding and outpatient clinics
