Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Georgia (or multi-state compact licensure)
Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS certifications
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical settings and patient needs
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in acute care, ICU, Med/Surg, or Emergency Department
Previous float or agency nursing experience
Additional certifications such as NIHSS or specialty certifications
Proficiency with healthcare technologies and documentation systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Less than 1 year of clinical nursing experience with a focus on patient-centered care
Prior experience working in fast-paced hospital environments
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work night shifts (7:45 PM – 7:15 AM) with every other weekend and holiday rotations
Commitment to maintaining compliance with all healthcare regulations and Wellstar policies
Ability to travel across different departments and units within the hospital as needed
