Join Our Team as a Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center – Agency RN

As a Float Pool (Critical) Nurse at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, you will be a vital part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, safe patient care in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Bring:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Multi-State Compact license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent critical thinking, time management, and adaptability in emergency situations
  • Familiarity with healthcare technology and electronic medical records
  • Less than one year of clinical experience required; prior acute care experience preferred

Additional Skills That Will Set You Apart:
  • Experience in critical care, telemetry, or emergency settings
  • Ability to perform under pressure with professionalism and respect
  • Competency in fostering cultural sensitivity and patient-centered care
  • Prior experience with interdisciplinary teamwork and research initiatives

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting, particularly in critical care environments

Other Requirements:
  • Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and RN Licensure are mandatory upon hire
  • Flexibility to work day and night shifts, including every other weekend and two major and two minor holidays
  • Travel or reimbursement for licensure, certifications, and other eligible expenses

  • Competitive hourly pay of $46.90
