What You'll Do
Provide primary care services including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for diverse patient populations
Document clinical encounters accurately and thoroughly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple clinics in Portsmouth and nearby locations
Maintain compliance with all healthcare policies, safety protocols, and legal standards
What You Need
MD or DO from an accredited institution
Unrestricted medical license in Virginia
Valid DEA and BLS certifications
At least 1 year of recent family practice experience
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
Willingness to work on Fridays and flexible hours as needed
Preferred
Experience in military or federal healthcare settings
Additional certifications in emergency medicine or specialized family practice
Bilingual language skills
Experience supervising medical staff or students
