Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for precision and patient safety? We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to play a vital role in supporting our endoscopy department. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of scope reprocessing, maintaining sterile environments, and supporting smooth procedural operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient outcomes and the efficiency of our healthcare services.
Required Skills:
Proven experience in endoscopy scope reprocessing, decontamination, and sterilization.
Knowledge of sterilization protocols, infection control practices, and biomedical equipment handling.
Ability to accurately document sterilization procedures and detect equipment malfunctions.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Familiarity with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with endoscopy equipment setup and procedural room preparation.
Familiarity with equipment transport and sanitation procedures.
Basic knowledge of hospital information systems and record-keeping.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in Central Sterile Processing (CRCST or CSPDT) is preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an endoscopy or sterile processing setting.
Other Requirements:
BLS certification required.
Ability to work scheduled shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Call duties approximately one to two times per month, with potential for additional assignments based on departmental needs.
Must be able to travel if necessary for training or coverage.
