Join Our Team as an Endoscopy Technician (Endo Tech)
Are you a dedicated healthcare professional with a passion for supporting advanced gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures? We are seeking a highly skilled Endo Tech to join our team, providing critical technical assistance in a busy clinical environment. This role offers the opportunity to work independently on call, perform a wide range of procedures—including EUS, ERCP, bronchoscopies, EBUS, and ION Robot—and ensure the highest standards of patient care and equipment maintenance. Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, specifically assisting with GI and pulmonary procedures
Ability to perform all regular and advanced GI procedures including EUS and ERCP, as well as pulmonary procedures such as advanced bronchoscopies, EBUS, and ION Robot
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Proficiency in computer systems, software, and web-based applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work independently and travel between facilities as needed
Nice to Have Skills:
Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) through IAHCSMM or Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) through CBSPDKSAs
Previous experience with equipment maintenance and infection control protocols
Familiarity with hospital or clinical workflows and patient care standards
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting assisting in GI and pulmonary procedures
Certification(s) related to endoscope reprocessing or specialized technical procedures are a plus
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible hours, including being the only tech on call
Ability to travel across multiple facilities as necessary
Exposure to blood, body fluids, and potentially infectious materials in compliance with safety standards
Ability to exert physical effort, including lifting up to 100 pounds when required
Compliance with all hospital safety, privacy, and ethical policies
