Join Our Team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Saratoga Springs, NY
Are you a highly skilled and compassionate ER nurse ready to make a difference? We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide critical care and support in a fast-paced emergency department setting. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver lifesaving services, collaborate with a committed healthcare team, and enhance patient outcomes in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages.
Assess, monitor, and respond to patient needs in a rapid and accurate manner.
Serve as a crisis evaluator for mental health patients within the ED.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and follow facility protocols.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Current New York State Registered Nurse license.
Minimum of 5 years recent Emergency Department experience.
Proven knowledge of emergency nursing procedures and protocols.
Ability to perform crisis evaluation for mental health patients.
Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
Ability to complete an on-site ECG exam (study materials provided).
Availability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday.
Other Requirements:
Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per contract period.
Must start by December 30, 2025.
Candidates from Warren, Washington, Fulton, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Columbia, Greene, Dutchess, Ulster, and Albany counties in NY are not eligible.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred.
Advanced experience in emergency and mental health care.
Additional Information:
Hourly pay rate of $63.65.
Weekly pay via direct deposit.
