Join Our Team as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Saratoga Springs, NY
Are you a dedicated and experienced ER Nurse looking to make a meaningful impact? We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join a reputable facility in Saratoga Springs. Required Skills:
Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 5 years of current emergency department experience
Proven knowledge of emergency care protocols and procedures
Experience in crisis evaluation and management of mental health patients
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS
Ability to complete an on-site ECG exam accurately and efficiently
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday shifts
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience in specialized emergency scenarios
Additional certifications in trauma or critical care
Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
Familiarity with telehealth or remote patient monitoring tools
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
At least 5 years of recent ED experience, demonstrating proficiency in crisis intervention and advanced cardiac life support
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Willingness to work scheduled shifts with potential up to 5 cancellations per contract
Must be willing to work in compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
