Job Description
Emergency Room Nurse
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Emergency Room (ER) Nurse, where your skills will directly impact patient care in a fast-paced critical access hospital. This vital role offers the opportunity to work across emergency and medical-surgical units, providing comprehensive care in a challenging and rewarding environment. Required Skills:
Proven experience in Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical nursing
Ability to adapt and excel in a dual-unit environment
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities
Ability to manage 5-10 ER patients per shift and maintain accurate documentation
Comfort working night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
Nice to Have Skills:
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Experience in critical access or rural hospital settings
Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
At least 1-2 years of ER and Med-Surg experience in a hospital setting
Certifications in advanced emergency or trauma nursing preferred
Other Requirements:
Current valid RN license in applicable state
Ability to work a 12-hour night shift
Experience working in a critical access hospital environment
Reliability in rotating between ER and Med-Surg units
Willingness to commit to start date of January 19, 2026
Must comply with hospital policies and procedures; travel or certification reimbursements provided when applicable
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $53.60, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, and access to a robust referral bonus program.
