Our hospital is seeking a highly motivated Emergency Room (ER) Nurse to deliver exceptional patient care in our bustling ER department. Required Skills:
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and multitask effectively
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Experience working in ER and Med-Surg settings (preferred but not mandatory)
Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous travel nursing experience
Familiarity with Athena EMR system
Knowledge of hospital protocols for CAH settings
Experience working with LPNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid RN license in the state of employment
Typically, 1-3 years of nursing experience; open to motivated first-time travelers
Prior experience in emergency or acute care preferred but not required
Other Requirements:
Must be able to start during the week of 05/25/2026
Shifts are 12 hours, from 6 am to 6 pm
Ability to float between ER and Med-Surg as needed
No mileage restrictions; COVID vaccination exemptions accepted
Will work with a team of 2 nurses, 1 aide, and 1 staff secretary per shift
