Required Skills:
Valid Texas license or compact license at the time of submission
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Minimum of 2 years of ER experience
Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in a float pool or acute care settings
Prior experience with block scheduling
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Advanced trauma or pediatric emergency certification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
At least 2 years of emergency department experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Must be able to work weekends as required
Housing is limited in the area; candidates should plan accordingly
Scrubs of any color are acceptable
Willingness to float and adapt to various units
EMR experience with Cerner software
Hourly Pay Rate: $56.95
