Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours

License/Certs: Active California Medical License (required); BC or BE within 5 years; ABEM/ABEOM certification
Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience; must have clean file (no malpractice issues, restrictions, or NBDB concerns)
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

What You’ll Do:
Provide emergency medical care for approximately 110 patients in a 24-hour period
Manage acute illness and trauma cases in the emergency department
Collaborate with hospital staff and other providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document clinical findings using hospital EMR systems
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and credentialing requirements
Ensure timely and accurate documentation for billing and patient care
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards
What You Need:
Active California medical license (required)
BC or BE in Emergency Medicine within 5 years
ABEM or ABEOM certification (no exceptions)
Clear professional file (no malpractice or NBDB concerns)
24 months of relevant clinical activity
Updated CV with all hospital affiliations
Ability to start immediately or upon credentialing
