Emergency Medicine Physician – Eureka, CA

Licenses/Certifications: CA Medical License preferred; family medicine, emergency medicine, or internal medicine experience preferred
Experience: Prior ER or acute care experience preferred
Pay & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (please note this is an internal placeholder; actual pay to be discussed upon application)

What You’ll Do:
Provide emergency care to diverse patient cases in a fast-paced environment
Assess, diagnose, and treat acute medical conditions and injuries
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
Follow protocols and guidelines established by the facility and state regulations
Assist in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and patient safety measures
What You Need:
Valid California medical license or eligibility to obtain one
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Prior emergency medicine, urgent care, or acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a changing environment
