Emergency Medicine Physician – Permanent Night Shift Position
We are seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician for a full-time, permanent position at our facility located in Eureka, California. This opportunity offers a stable, rewarding career in a dynamic emergency department environment.
Position Details:
Shift Schedule: Night shifts, including 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Location: Eureka, CA (2700 Dolbeer Street)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages
Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate closely with nursing staff, specialists, and support teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Supervise and mentor ancillary staff where appropriate
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Maintain detailed and accurate medical documentation
Qualifications and Requirements:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain one; candidates willing to secure their CA license are encouraged to apply
Proven experience in emergency medicine, with excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts
