Required Skills:
Valid Medical License and current medical board certification in Emergency Medicine
Active NC Medicaid credential and enrollment in PECOS
Proven experience in emergency care settings, managing acute cases
Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency with Meditech 6.1 EMR system
Ability to independently manage a high-volume patient load (approximately 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift)
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in open ICU management
Additional certifications such as ATLS, ACLS, PALS
Bilingual abilities for better patient communication
Experience with emergency procedures and trauma management
Preferred Education and Experience:
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of emergency medicine experience
Prior work in hospital-based emergency departments
Other Requirements:
Availability for participating in rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to adhere to hospital policies and protocols
Travel reimbursement up to $500 for required travel between facilities
