Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of specialized experience in echocardiography within a hospital setting
Certification as a Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer through RDCS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various ultrasound equipment
Ability to perform multiple ultrasound procedures with accuracy and efficiency
Intermediate computer skills
Knowledge of ultrasound methods, techniques, and operating principles
Nice to Have Skills:
Vascular Technologist certification with 2 years of vascular-related experience
Congenital echocardiography experience
Experience with Cerner electronic medical record systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate from an accredited school of Ultrasound Technology
Registered or registry-eligible in diagnostic cardiac sonography
Other Requirements:
No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
Willingness to work varied schedules (7a-5:30p; 8a-6:30p; 9a-7:30p) with 13-week assignments
Licensing or certification as required by the State of Georgia
Valid state license or certification in echocardiography
