We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ER Registered Nurse to provide exceptional emergency care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of emergency department (ED) experience
At least 1 year of recent travel nursing experience
Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
Strong knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS (Pediatric advanced life support)
Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient management skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Oncology care experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience with complex trauma cases
Bilingual abilities or multilingual skills
Ability to adapt to various shift schedules and floating assignments
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing degree ( ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
At least two years of ER nursing experience
Recent travel nursing assignments demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
Other Requirements:
Valid state RN license and certifications
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a rotating schedule
Willingness to float across different units as needed
Submission of Request for Time Off (RTO) during application; up to 7 days off may be granted during a 14-week contract
Must comply with all hospital policies and safety protocols
