Job Description
ER REGISTERED NURSE
Join our dynamic Emergency Room team and make a vital impact where every second counts. As an ER Registered Nurse, you will be at the forefront of patient care, delivering critical support in a fast-paced environment. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience
Proficiency in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system experience
BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
Ability to handle a patient ratio of 1:4
Experience in a fast-paced emergency setting is essential
Floating to different units may be required to meet staffing needs
Nice to Have Skills:
Oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory
Past experience with pediatric patients
Additional certifications related to emergency or critical care
Preferred Education and Experience:
Nursing degree (Associates or Bachelor’s) from an accredited program
At least 2 years of ER or emergency care experience
Other Requirements:
Valid RN license in the state of practice
Submission of requested Time Off (RTO) at the time of application; up to 7 consecutive days off may be granted at the facility’s discretion for a 14-week contract
Flexibility to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30), three days per week, 12-hour shifts
Ability to adapt quickly in a busy emergency environment; floating experience required
