What You’ll Do:
Serve as a primary nurse in the ER holding unit, managing patient care and ensuring safety
Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmia, including cardiac and vasoactive drips with titration
Administer IV medications such as insulin, heparin, and blood products
Assist with wound care, wound vacs, and non-invasive airway management (CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen)
Participate in rapid response team activation and support various critical interventions
Document patient care accurately using EPIC documentation system
Support patients of all ages including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
What You Need:
Valid RN license in Ohio or appropriate state
Minimum of 2 years experience in ER, telemetry, or acute care settings
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
Strong skills in telemetry, cardiac care, IV management, and acute patient stabilization
Preferred:
Experience with renal failure management, blood product administration, and rapid response procedures
