Required Skills:
Proven experience in dietary or nutritional services, preferably within healthcare settings
Strong knowledge of nutritional guidelines, food safety, and sanitation practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and staff
Ability to perform kitchen inspections and provide nutritional consultations
Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently
Valid certification or licensure as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or equivalent credential
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in hospital or clinical environments
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Experience with menu planning or diet modification
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field from an accredited institution
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or hospital dietary role
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel between Great River Medical Center and South Mississippi County Regional Medical Center (approximately 30 minutes apart)
Valid dietitian licensure and certification required
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations
This role offers an competitive hourly pay rate of $55.61, with a part-time schedule of 30 hours per week.
