Diagnostic Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - Pediatric Radiology
Join our esteemed medical team as a Pediatric Radiology Specialist, where your expertise will play a vital role in providing exceptional diagnostic imaging services to our young patients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to pediatric healthcare excellence, combining advanced radiological techniques with compassionate patient care.
Required Skills:
Board-certified or eligible in Pediatric Radiology (CAQ certification preferred)
Fellowship-trained in Pediatric Radiology
Proficient in interpreting X-rays, ultrasounds, and STAT CT cases
Ability to read and interpret body MRI, neuro MRI, and fluoroscopy (FL) cases
Strong knowledge of radiologic procedures and protocols
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with on-site pediatric radiology coverage
Experience with emergency and on-call radiology services
Familiarity with hospital-specific PACS systems
Additional certifications in related imaging modalities
Preferred Education and Experience:
Completion of a Pediatric Radiology fellowship program
CAQ certification or eligibility in Pediatric Radiology
Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in pediatric radiology
Other Requirements:
Availability for onsite coverage at Children’s Hospital of Michigan
Flexibility to work scheduled hours including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts
Must hold valid medical licensure and certifications
Willingness to participate in travel or reimbursement processes as applicable
