We are seeking experienced Days RN professionals for immediate travel assignments on our busy Med/Surg and Tele units. What You’ll Do:
Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Perform assessments, administer treatments, and monitor patient progress with minimal supervision.
Initiate IVs, draw labs, and monitor Telemetry equipment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Work every other weekend and some holidays, with schedule flexibility aligned to unit needs.
Required Skills:
Current New York State RN license.
BLS certified (re-certification required as needed).
Minimum of 1.5 years recent experience within the past 2 years in an acute care hospital environment of similar size or trauma level.
Proficiency in performing patient assessments, administering medications, and monitoring tele settings.
Ability to start IVs and draw labs confidently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical records, preferably EPIC.
No history of license suspension, investigation, or being named as a defendant in a medical liability claim.
Verification of legal right to work in the U.S. and passing pre-employment health screening, drug test, and background check.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in trauma centers or higher-level trauma units.
Additional certifications such as TNCC, ACLS, or PALS.
Prior experience working with EPIC EMR system.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
At least 1.5 years of recent acute care hospital experience, particularly in Med/Surg or Telemetry units.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts starting from 01/23/2026.
Must be able to start promptly and commit to scheduled shifts; extensive time off or fixed days of work will not be approved.
Compliance with all healthcare regulations and policies.
Pay Rate: $66.99/hour
