Required Skills:
Proven experience in substance abuse counseling or related clinical roles
Knowledge of chemical dependency treatment protocols and best practices
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
Familiarity with federal and state regulatory standards governing addiction treatment
Nice to Have Skills:
Certification as a Addiction Counselor or related credential
Experience working with methadone maintenance programs
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse populations
Experience with crisis intervention and emergency management
Knowledge of community resources and regulatory agencies
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in addiction counseling or clinical treatment settings
Prior experience in a chemically dependent treatment environment
Other Requirements:
Valid licensure or certification in addiction counseling preferred
Willingness to travel as necessary for client or program needs
Availability to work the scheduled shift of 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
